I'm glad you credited me and all, but I definitely would have preferred it if you informed me before you decided to use it... Did your friend give you money to make this? Did he request that you specifically use my art to do so? If that's the case, then we have a bit of a problem. If not, then no worries this time. (Don't worry I'm not blowing steam out of my ears or anything, I just need to know.)
Nope. I've never heard from this guy. Granted, this is fan art and that has some leeway, and you credited me so I'll let it slide. But yeah, seems like it's just a lack of communication issue, rather than anything out of control... so!
No hard feelings. I'll let you do what you wish with it, and your friend may do the same... just tell him to be careful next time
I adore Fi. My favorite ally of all time. Midna was cool, but she annoyed the hell out of me, same goes for Tatl. And Navi was acute, but boring. Beautiful coloring. I love how you captured her flowing 'arms'.
I'm in the mines now and by now she still feels too much like an emotionless Midna Interface rehash. I guess it's nice having a companion that you don't want to kill each time it opens it's damn mouth, but then again, she's so stoic, makes you feel lonely. So the question is, does she get some development or just acts like a robot the whole time?
That is exactly what I said when I got it! I was all like "Master? WTF? YELL AT BE B****! suckup..." I love Midna... she was way better than Navi, thats for sure. no wonder it took me 7 yrs to beat the game!! PS. The boss is a PAIN IN THE BUTT! It took me LITTERALLY 2 days to kill it! i kno...im a sad excuse for a Zelda-holic...
I know. She's not a character, she's just a pokedex. Well, no boss took me that long, but it's comprehensible, the game had some difficulty spikes and the controls are nothing like a Zelda-holic was used to.
Here's the thing. Fi isn't really a "She". She is your sword. She doesn't have a personality because she is the sword. I kind of find her rather dead pan voice rather comical depending on the situation. Her humor is subtle, but it's there. She's there to help you - that's all. Zelda is the focus here, not her. And that's completely fine with me.
Nope. The offical spelling of her name is Fi. Phi was a prediction just before Nintendo came out and spelled it for us. Check Zelda Informer's character guide if you don't believe me. Anyway, thank you! I used a combination of three textures and used kind of blotchy paint strokes. It was really fun!
