A long long time ago in a house that is actually not too far away from the one I'm living in now, I discovered adult swim. Needless to say I was rather young at the time (I was twelve when I firt turned it on to Cartoon Network at that time) and it scared the living daylights out of me... but when I was around fifteen I gave it another go, and that was the first time I found the anime that was probably the only cool anime in the face of America.

I forgot how muched I loved that freakin' show. For once, the character was not a perfect hero, he didn't have a perfect life, his brother (in my opinion) was clinicly insane, and he hid all of it behind this hyper active mask that made him look ridiculous for his audience to enjoy... Favorite line, "In the past three minutes I could have groped you... five times. OKAY MAYBE FOUR!"

I also got to watch Trinity Blood. That in itself is rather good.. but so far I'm liking the Manga better.

Needless to say, I found my reason for why I started watching anime in the first place. Even though I now depise drawing it becuase there is seriously way too much of it that I could eat it all and suddenly develop belima, but that doesn't mean it's not fun to watch. I will always say that anime is way better than american cartoons. Over in this country people have this mentality that cartoons are just for kids, but come on? Who ever made that law was seriously missing something.

This might be old news by now for people who are s till really into anime and stuff, but it seems that in 2009 there will be a trigun movie. It's pretty solid news... I'm excited to say the least. Hopefully the movie will top off what we've missed in the series.

Goodness I love cartoons... with blood and violence and a plot that is actually worthy of a fanbase.
